【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforheadandfaceprotectionforuseinicehockey.NOTE1Theintentistoreducetheriskofinjurytotheheadandfacewithoutcompromisingtheformorappealofthegame.NOTE2Icehockeyisasportinwhichthereisariskofinjury.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedonlyforhelmetsandfaceprotectorsusedforicehockey.Icehockeyhelmetsaffordnoprotectionfromneckorspinalinjury.Severehead,brainorspinalinjuries,includingparalysisordeath,mayoccurinspiteofusinganicehockeyhelmetinaccordancewiththisInternationalStandard.Performancerequirementsandtestmethods,whereappropriate,aregivenforthefollowing:a)construction;b)shockabsorption;c)puck-impactresistance;d)penetration;e)retention-systemproperties;f)fieldofvision;g)markingandinformation.Theheadandfaceprotectionisintendedforusebya)players,b)goalkeepersandc)certainfunctionaries(e.g.referees).
