【摘要】:Thispartofthestandardspecifiesamethodofdeterminingthetearresistanceofplasticfilmorsheetlessthan1mmthick,intheformofStandardtrouser-shapedtestspecimens,testedunderdefinedconditionsofpretreatment,temperature,humidityandspeedoftesting.Themethodisapplicabletofilmandsheetingofbothflexibleandrigidmaterials,providedthatthematerialisnotsorigidthatbrittlefractureoccursduringthetest,orsodeformable,inanirreversibleway,thattheenergyusedinthedeformationofthespecimenlegsissignificant(i.e.isnotnegligible)withrespecttotheenergyusedintearing.Themethodmaynotbesuitablefordeterminingthetearpropertiesofcellularsheetandfilm.
