【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecovershowdirect(straight)air-rotarydrillingproceduresmaybeusedforgeoenvironmentalexplorationandinstallationofsubsurfacewater-qualitymonitoringdevices.Note1Thetermdirectwithrespecttotheair-rotarydrillingmethodofthisguideindicatesthatcompressedairisinjectedthroughadrill-rodcolumntoarotatingbit.Theaircoolsthebitandtransportscuttingstothesurfaceintheannulusbetweenthedrill-rodcolumnandtheboreholewall.Note2Thisguidedoesnotincludeconsiderationsforgeotechnicalsitecharacterizationsthatareaddressedinaseparateguide.1.2Directair-rotarydrillingforgeoenvironmentalexplorationwillofteninvolvesafetyplanning,administration,anddocumentation.Thisguidedoesnotpurporttospecificallyaddressexplorationandsitesafety.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
