【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfortestinginternalcombustionenginesforpropulsionofroadvehiclesasdefinedinISO3833.Itapplicabletotheevaluationoftheirperformancewithaview,inparticular,topresentingcurvesofpowerandspecificfuelconsumptionatfullloadasafunctionofenginespeed.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletogrosspowerassessment.ThisInternationalStandardconcernsinternalcombustionenginesusedforpropulsionofpassengercars,trucksandothermotorvehicles,excludingmotorcycles,mopedsandagriculturaltractorsnormallytravellingonroads,andincludedinoneofthefollowingcategories:—reciprocatinginternalcombustionengines(spark-ignitionorcompression-ignition)butexcludingfreepistonengines;—rotarypistonengines.Theseenginesmaybenaturallyaspiratedorpressure-charged,eitherusingamechanicalsuperchargerorturbocharger.ThisInternationalStandardisprimarilyintendedforthecommunicationbetweentheenginemanufacturerandthemanufacturerofthevehicle.Ifusedforadvertisingpurposes,theratingsmustclearlystatethattheyaregrosspowerinaccordancewith9.2.
